Here’s what we specifically do:

Investigations and research

Thanks to the support of our Technical Scientific Committee, composed of university professors and Greenpeace experts, the Consorzio conducts targeted studies and in-depth analyses on the use of substances potentially harmful to human health and the environment, present in various phases of manufacturing production. The goal is to identify the main sources of pollution within the Fashion System and propose concrete, effective, easy-to-implement, and low-cost solutions.

Continuous support

The Consorzio offers ongoing and qualified assistance in all preliminary phases before signing the Detox Commitment, starting with the review of laboratory analyses. Once companies join the Consorzio, they also receive support in monitoring possible contamination points to prevent accidental and untracked pollution.

Training and updates

Regular training and update courses are organized to guide companies in managing the commitments related to the Detox path. During these sessions, topics such as defining the ideal organizational model, operational steps for protocol implementation, and approaches to major brand specifications are covered, along with best practices to actively engage suppliers.

National and international promotion

The Consorzio actively promotes a Made in Italy model founded on eco-sustainability, both in Italy and abroad. For major fashion brands, it is a guarantee: they can rely on a production supply chain fully compliant with Greenpeace’s Detox criteria without having to change their production standards. At the same time, we work to keep media and institutional attention focused on the value of the project, the expertise of member companies, and the concrete opportunities offered by the Consorzio, in collaboration with key industry organizations such as FSC, ZDHC, and Greenpeace itself.
