Teamwork for the environment

Consorzio Italiano Implementazione Detox (CID) was founded in 2016 by a group of 20 textile manufacturing companies committed to meeting the challenge of Greenpeace’s Detox campaign: eliminating toxic substances from fashion. Since then, CID has promoted environmental sustainability in the fashion supply chain through research, analysis, and collaboration, and today it counts nearly 40 member companies.

Thanks to visionary entrepreneurs, it has been proven that eco-sustainable fashion is possible. Working together allows companies to better meet the commitments of the Detox Protocol by sharing technical-scientific tools and common sustainability goals. Today, CID and its member companies look ahead: aiming to explore new aspects of production to protect health and the environment, while keeping strong focus on sustainable fashion—which is now achievable and often already a reality.
